Building blocks Lego

Although Ana is 17 years old, her love for building blocks Lego has become more than a hobby—it's a foundation for her dream of becoming an architect specializing in home interior decor.

Ana’s fascination with Lego Friends began as a child, but what set her apart was her focus on designing living spaces. Instead of simply building whimsical structures, she arranged miniature living rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms with a designer's touch.

Every block she placed reflected her innate talent for spatial organization and aesthetic harmony. In one project, she transformed a limited space under a Lego staircase into a cozy reading nook, complete with a miniature bookshelf and armchair.

For example, building blocks LEGO Creator 3 in 1 house building kit, gives her the possibility to rebuild into 3 different Houses, including family minifigures and accessories.

She likes the bedroom arrangement very much as a LEGO building kit (85 Pieces), or LEGO Friends Forest House Building Kit, as she loves nature.

Her favorite part? Creating furniture arrangements. Using Lego pieces, she crafted tiny sofas, coffee tables, kitchen islands, and shelves, experimenting with colors, proportions, and layouts.

These playful experiments exposed Ana early to interior design principles, from balance and symmetry to functionality and flow. She mainly uses Lego bricks and very rarely uses other compatible ones.

Vision for the Future

Ana's passion for turning small-scale models into realistic designs fueled her decision to pursue a career in architecture. She envisions herself designing cozy, modern, and functional homes that resonate with the same joy and creativity she experiences while building blocks Lego.

Ana usually says, she always loved the feeling of creating something from nothing, and with Lego, she can build entire worlds. Now, she wants to build real ones.

Ana’s favorite aspect of her Lego endeavors was devising furniture arrangements within her miniature homes. One of her proudest achievements was a meticulously crafted modernist living room.

Using sleek white and transparent bricks, she constructed a minimalist sofa, a geometric coffee table, and a wall-mounted entertainment center, demonstrating an early grasp of proportion and negative space.

This passion for building blocks LEGO furniture from tiny pieces wasn't just a pastime but a serious exploration into the world of design. She meticulously selected each brick, considering not only its color but also its texture and how it interacted with the surrounding pieces.

These playful yet deliberate activities introduced Ana to the fundamental principles of interior design—concepts such as balance, symmetry, functionality, and flow—giving her practical insights long before entering formal education in architecture.
